Hello! my name is holly chantrill-cheyette, the creator behind solis luna art. I'm an artist, illustrator and maker currently based in bristol, uk. Outside of art, I work for environmental youth education charity 'Action for Conservation', empowering young people to deliver environmental and social action projects. I am also developing a programme focusing on nature connection, creativity and community gardening.

i find inspiration in nature, food growing/gardening, folklore and the relationship between nature, art, community and wellbeing. I am passionate about nature connection, sustainability, climate action and social/environmental justice. I am fascinated by the connections between stories, cultural connections with the land and how this can be communicated through art, storytelling, nature connection and action. I endeavour to weave these themes into my work, as well as using art for self-expression, self-care and sharing with others.
I love to work in detail, bright colours and pattern-work to reflect the magic and essence of nature and folklore.
