Butterflies

Handmade using fimo polymer clay and handpainted with acrylic paint. The process involves hand-drawing a template, cutting and shaping the fimo by hand, cooking the clay to harden, intricately handpainting each butterfly (with some details drawn on with Pigma Mircon pens)  and varnishing with polymer clay varnish. The pendants are then attached by hand to necklaces or brooch backs. For information on the process and a timelapse, please visit my Instagram page.
